The MSU Alumni Association has teamed up with the Second Harvest Food Bank on the Peninsula to ask for your help in finding volunteers to help pack food for the needy here in the Bay Area. This opportunity will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 9am-noon at their San Carlos facility. This organization helps to deliver over 162,000 meals for needy families in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties each month. That is almost 2 million meals every year that this group helps to provide. During our time there, will be helping to sort food and package it for families here in the area. If you would like to volunteer for this event, you can either register by posting to the string on the MSU site, or you can email me to let me know if you would like to help out. Again, due to the number of spaces for this event, we can only take the first 15 people; however, if there is a large response, we can definitely plan something else in the near future. Thank you for you support for this and GO GREEN!!
