There are less than 3 weeks left to buy your tickets for the Big Ten Picnic!

The picnic is August 12 in San Leandro. As of right now, there are 8 people who are paid and confirmed to come. If you are on the fence about coming, last year was a fun time. MSU had the most participants out of any school with 30 people in attendance. This year, we are shooting for 40. The cost for this event is only $20 and this provides your catered lunch and one beverage a piece. It’s BYOB should you want to bring some in your own cooler.

The deadline is July 30, so please e-mail your RSVP’s to prez@sfbayspartans.org

Payments can be sent to the same address through our paypal account OR you can send a check (payable to the MSU Alumni Group of the San Francisco Bay Area) along with an RSVP to the following address:

In addition, we need volunteers for the following:

PRIZE DONATIONS - For the raffle, these can be small items with the grand total not exceeding $20. Each school needs to bring 5 raffles item(s). So if anyone has access to company or personal swag, please let me know.

DESSERTS - If there are any bakers in the area, each school needs to bring a snack to the picnic. So we are looking for a person(s) to volunteer to bring 3-4 dozen cookies/deserts total to the picnic to represent MSU. If we can 3 people to each make a dozen, then that would be great!

TENT - If anyone has a large pop-up or folding tent, we could really use this. This will provide shade for the MSU contingent. If there is anyone who has a large tent, or has a connection to the tenting industry… please let me know

COOLERS - Since we are providing beverages, each school needs to bring some extra waters for everyone. Since we can supply the water, if someone could please provide or donate for the day their large coolers, I would greatly appreciate it.
