MSU Alumni Club of the San Francisco Bay Area

Just a quick recap of the Watch Party that was recently held in Palo Alto for the MSU / Notre Dame Game. We had over 20 people show up for one outstanding game. Although the Irish are down this year, it was still nice to avenge that horrible finish to last years game.

In addition, we also held a silent auction to benefit the MSU Endowment that was started by the SF Bay Group earlier this year. The goal is to reach $30,000 over the next five years to help create a $1,000 annual scholarship that we can give away to a Bay Area Student that can be used for attendance at MSU. Thanks to the support of many local alumni, we were able to raise $1,100 towards that goal this past Saturday! That is a great total, and thank you to everyone who participated.

A special thank you to Kathy Sanders from the Palo Alto Country Club who donated the round of golf for four. Currently, the Palo Alto Country Club is expanding their Social Memberships. So if anyone is interested in building some great contacts in the Palo Alto/ Peninsula area, give Kathy a call and reserve your membership today. I just visited their facilities and I can tell you first hand that the entire club is a first class organization.
