MSU Alumni Club of the San Francisco Bay Area

As the holiday season is quickly upon us, please take a moment to make sure you are doing your part to help those less fortunate. Back in May of this year the MSU Alumni Club of the Bay Area created an endowment with the aim of raising $30,000 over the next 5 years in an effort to give $1,000 away each year to a needy Bay Area resident that plans on attending MSU. We made this need based because all of us know how hard it can be to afford college tuition with the rising costs at all universities in the U.S.

What can you do to help?

Check with your employers to see if they have gift matching programs that might double a potential contribution. That way, if you donate $250, it might end up being $500 after it is all said and done. In addition, you can also check with your tax representative because your donations may be tax deductible. Please help us as we try to raise the money necessary to achieve our goal. We’ve posted a page with more information on how and where to make your donation.
