MSU forward Raymar Morgan has been tabbed one of the two Big Ten players of the week.
The sophomore scored a career-high 31 points in the Spartans’ win over Minnesota Saturday night. He also added 10 rebound for his third double-double of the season.
He was the first Spartan to have 30 points and 10 rebounds since Morris Peterson in 2000 against Michigan.
This is the second time this season that Morgan has been named player of the week.
The other recipient is Penn State forward Geary Claxton.
MSU’s next game is Tuesday at 9 p.m. against Purdue at the Breslin Center.
