Can you believe it’s already basketball season?! With two football games left in the regular season and several months of exciting hoops ahead, we are proud to announce that the Spartans have an official home in San Francisco. We’ve enjoyed watching the Spartan football team at The Brick Yard this fall and are very thankful for their partnership. They will televise all Spartan football and basketball games unless otherwise announced. We won’t be hosting official game watch parties for smaller and/early games (many are 4pm Pacific on weeknights), but you can always head to The Brick Yard if you’d like to watch a game at the Sparty bar.
MSU Football faces Ohio State in an epic Big Ten showdown this Saturday, November 8 at 5PM Pacific. ESPN College GameDay will be in East Lansing and the Bay Area Spartans will be cheering from The Brick Yard in San Francisco and The Patio in Palo Alto. The Patio is next to the Palo Alto Caltrain station. We will be sitting in the back outdoor area. Wear your finest green & white and bring your friends, as long as they are wearing the right colors!
September 6 is looking like one of the greatest days in 2014 pre-conference game college football. I want to make sure we can pack the stadium with Spartans when MSU returns to the West Coast.
I know this is one of the most important parts of the weekend – actually figuring out how to attend the game – so here is everything we know so far. Feel free to leave a comment or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you find out any other updated information.
You can follow Spartan Central or more information or try Oregon’s ticket office. According to several people in our group who have tried to go through MSU Athletics, the MSU ticket allotment went to Spartan Fund donors first, so I don’t think any more tickets are available through MSU. You can always try StubHub. Best of luck – please let me know if you end up finding tickets!
Information on the big weekend from the MSU Alumni Club of Oregon & SW Washington:
We know game tickets are hard to come by, but if you’ve managed to secure yours, we have the best transportation package available. Travel there and back with other Spartans while avoiding the hassle of traffic and parking.
